My first time in exams

Most people have exams forom 5th but, since I am in a different board called Cambridge{CAIE} I have exams only from 6th grade.

The nervousness was contagious. Buried in books was half of our class. The worry for exams had starte...

JUST KIDDING!

Our class was as chill as ever. Infact, I don't even think that people were studying hard. Just chattering while our teacher kept warning us about exams and how hard they will be. Did we trust that? NO. The confidence to one of the highest in class was just very high. I too just did light revisions and knew that the exams were not going to be as easy as we thought.

Our exams were supposed to start on 8th Sep and end on 29th Sep. Our first exam was english. It was pretty easy and it was for 100 marks{All core subjects are of 100 marks} and I would get 90+ so I was happy.

On 11 we had science and that was when our problems started. There was a transport strike on that day and for no reason we had school on Saturday!

The next day we had an exam of my favorite subject. ART!Art was as easy as ever and I am passing with flying colours.Literally flying COLOURS.😁

Wednesday was a study leave and thursday was Math which was eas-WHAT! IT WAS IMMENSELY HARD!!!!! I LITERALLY RACKED MY BRAIN FOR EVERY ANSWER!!!AND I SWEAR THAT THE CLASSROOM WAS SO QUIET THAT I COULD HAVE FALLEN ASLEEP!!

It was pretty evident that the class was not going to do very well in Math.

On Friday, we had ICT writing {or computer} it was good and easy.

And then came science. My second favorite subject. It was easy and I was pretty confident.

The rest of the exams were mostly hosing around and playing while studying. But, i am pretty confident about everything and am sure that the good marks will come to me automatically. But, since I am in a different board, I have and extra set of exams called check points. They are 100 mark exams for English, maths and science.

Our teachers think that we don't have enough time to prepare for them and so, they are making us study in school instead of letting us do whatever we want after the exam is over.

I mean I am not complaining about getting some more time to study but, I kind of liked playing around the class and wasting time.

This continued with alot of transport strikes and all.

But, we are all really sad about the postponing of several to October 3, 4, 5.

The worst part is that my friend's birthday has been postponed because of exams and she wont be able to celebrate it till 6th of October.

Anyway. I have to go to one of my classmate's birthday party on this Friday{29-9-23} AKA TOMORROW. And I have bought the PERFECT GIFT for her.I hope that she does not see this before her b day but, I have bought her a pendant with her initials on it along with an amazing bag.

I am really excited and am WAITING to get the exams over with.

Another nice blog. Why is that all the kids are sweating about Maths? For me, it was my favourite subject because it was the only subject where if you know and if you have practiced well, you could score 100%. Would love to hear what others think. Sorry about you missing your Friend's birthday party. I hope they will celebrate it on another day...
