My Gymnastics Competition PT2!

My last blog was about a gymnastics competition which I was going to.

So, here is how it went.....

I was a very rainy week because of some cyclone in Chennai. FOR SOME RANDOM REASON, BANGALORE WAS AFFECTED TOO! Anyways, I reached school at 8:00am and instead of going to class, I went to our gymnastics hall. After 15 mins we went to the bus and started our trip. Me and my friends took the last 7 seater. After a 45 min ride, we reached the academy. When we took off our shoes we were greeted by a wet grass mat! It was gross and we had to save our socks from getting wet. But, lets leave that aside. After the first competition, me and my friends put makeup on and waited for our turn to perform on floor. I am in under 12 category so we had to wait till lunch. After a light lunch I performed hoping that I did well. Then we had a good amount of snacks and waited for the prize distribution. I was overjoyed to have gotten silver in such a huge competition. When everyone cleared the top floor we started playing around on the beam. We did so many front tucks and roundoff dismounts that me and my friends just layed on the mats and almost slept. After everyone's distribution was done, we came back to school feeling satisfied.
