My Trip to Srinagar {Kashmir}

 Hello everyone! I am so sorry that I have not written for a very long time because of my holidays. Today, I  am going to tell you about my trip to Jammu or in specific Srinagar.

We went to Srinagar on the 4th of May for my 10th birthday celebration even though my birthday was on May 2nd. We got a little delayed in our trip plan because on the 2nd we were in Delhi and on the 3rd we watched 2 movies. and Lord of the rings. I do also recommend you to watch both of these movies because they are very interesting and are fun to watch. Anyways! We left for the airport at 7:00am and we had to wake up at 5:30am for that! We had a safe and relaxing flight. When we reached, we stayed in a nice cozy hotel called 'Hotel New park'. It had a small room which people mostly don't like but, in a very cold place, it is like heaven!!!!! Oh! Did I forget to mention that it was like an oven in Delhi so we did not get any warm clothes too! So, I was practically freezing at the airport. But, my mother's brother gave us 2 jackets and 1 sweater. The jackets for my parents and the sweater for me. Back to the trip. We settled in our room which was near Dal Lake. So, we went for a popular kind of boat ride called a Shikara ride. That is a special ride because while you are going around Dal lake, you will see floating markets. That means other boats with many shops resting ON THE BOATS will come and try selling stuff to you. The first boat that came to us was a jewelry shop. He had beautiful pieces but my mother did not like any. To tell you the truth, I am a very careful kid which means I WOLD NOT LIKE TO FALL IN WATER!!!! My father is very heavy and  I am scared the boat might get tilted and we might WOOP fall in the water. My dad also did a Facebook live while I was holding his phone {Please check out his website by typing👉 'arunb.com' or 'Engineering Happiness'}. He was constantly moving which worried me. After a while, another floating market came and he was selling barbecues. We had some salmon and it was very AMAZING!!!!! When our ride was over we had a good dinner and slept. So, that was 4th May and we were there till 9th of May. Till the 9th of May we traveled to many places:

Pahalgam: Me my mother and my father went horse riding to go sightseeing to 2 places out of 7.

Sonmarg: My dad went horse-riding again to see some more places. While I and my mom got tired of horse riding so we did not go.

Gulmarg: The last day of the trip was very fun. We went in a cable car to the top of a mountain. Sadly, there were 2 stages and we could only do 1 because the second part needed maintenance and that was the part that took us to snow. 

And on 9th we came back.
